From the Harpers Ferry Visitor Center located at 1000 B Street, start by heading northwest on B Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and follow it as it curves slightly to the right. You should pass several historic buildings along the way. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Potomac Street. Turn right onto Potomac Street. Armory Canal is located at the address 130-198 Potomac St. You will see the canal area on your left, featuring scenic views and historical significance.
Walking
If you are starting from the Lower Town area of Harpers Ferry, head towards the intersection of Shenandoah Street and Potomac Street. Walk along Potomac Street heading south. As you walk, keep an eye out for the historical markers and views of the rivers. Armory Canal will be located on your right at the address 130-198 Potomac St. This route offers a pleasant walk along the historic streets of Harpers Ferry.
Walking
If you are at the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, exit the park via the main entrance and head towards the town. Once you're on Shenandoah Street, turn left and walk down until you reach the intersection with Potomac Street. Turn right onto Potomac Street and continue walking straight. Armory Canal will be on your right between the addresses 130 and 198 Potomac Street. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
