Walking
From the Harper's Ferry National Historical Park Visitor Center, head east towards Shenandoah Street. Turn right onto Shenandoah Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Potomac Street. Turn left onto Potomac Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with High Street. Continue straight on High Street and follow the signs towards the Appalachian Trail. Once on the trail, follow it north; you'll eventually reach the scenic views overlooking the rivers. After enjoying the view, return to High Street and walk towards the train station. From there, take the MARC train service towards Frederick, MD. Once you reach the Woodsboro station, Woodsboro Park is just a short walk away.

Public Transport
From Harper's Ferry, walk to the train station and take the MARC train towards Frederick, MD. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Woodsboro station, exit the station and walk south on Woodsboro Road for about a quarter of a mile. Turn right onto Main Street, and you will find Woodsboro Park on your left. The park is easily recognizable with its entrance sign.

Biking
If you have access to a bike, from the center of Harper's Ferry, bike towards the C&O Canal Towpath. Follow the towpath heading north, which will lead you to the intersection with the Maryland Heights Trail. Follow the trail signs towards Woodsboro. After a scenic ride, you will emerge onto local roads that lead directly into Woodsboro. Look for signs pointing to Woodsboro Park as you approach the town. The total biking distance is about 10 miles and offers beautiful views along the way.
