Walking
If you are starting from the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Visitor Center, head southeast on Washington Street toward High Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Shenandoah Street. Turn left onto Shenandoah Street and follow it as it curves. You will pass several historic buildings. Keep going until you reach the end of the street, where you will find the Blacksmith Shop located at 564 Shenandoah River Dr. Look for the sign that indicates the Blacksmith Shop, which is situated near the river.

From the lower town area near the Harpers Ferry train station, walk south along the main street (Potomac Street). Continue past the shops and historic sites until you reach the intersection with Shenandoah Street. Turn right onto Shenandoah Street, and walk towards the river. The Blacksmith Shop will be on your right at 564 Shenandoah River Dr. It's a short walk, so enjoy the scenery along the way!
