After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Washington Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with High Street. Turn left onto High Street and follow it to the end, where you will find parking options. Note that parking is limited and may require a fee. From there, you will see signs directing you to Jefferson Rock.

Once parked, head towards the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Follow the trail markers leading you uphill. The trail is well-marked and will take you approximately 0.5 miles to reach Jefferson Rock. Be prepared for a moderate incline. The path is a mix of gravel and natural terrain, so wear comfortable footwear. Along the way, enjoy the scenic views of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers.
