Starting from the Harpers Ferry Visitor Center, exit the building and head towards the main road, Potomac Street. Turn left onto Potomac Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with High Street. Turn right onto High Street, and you'll start ascending the hill. Continue straight on High Street for about 0.4 miles. As you walk, you'll pass several historical buildings and signs about the area's history. Eventually, you will reach the Appalachian National Scenic Trail entrance on your left. Follow the trail signs, and remember to keep an eye out for the markers. After about a 0.3-mile hike on the trail, you will arrive at Jefferson Rock, where you can enjoy the stunning views and take in the historical significance of the site.
