    Starting from downtown Parkersburg, head east on Market Street towards 2nd Street. Continue on Market Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 7th Street. Turn right on 7th Street and walk for another 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with the Parkersburg Memorial Bridge. Cross the bridge on foot, which will take you over the Ohio River. Once you are on the other side, continue straight to follow the path leading to Fort Boreman Drive. After approximately 0.5 miles, you will see signs for the Fort Boreman Scenic Overlook. Follow the signs and walk up the hill to reach the overlook, where you can enjoy stunning views of the city and river.

    If you have a bicycle, you can start from the downtown Parkersburg area. Head east on Market Street towards 2nd Street. Continue on Market Street for about 0.5 miles.
