Getting There

• Public Transit

  Start at the Parkersburg City Center, located at 1 Government Square, Parkersburg, WV. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop at 3rd Street and Market Street. Take the Mid-Ohio Valley Transit bus route 2 towards Belpre. The bus will take you directly across the Ohio River to Belpre. Make sure to get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Ridge Street and Washington Boulevard. From the bus stop, walk south on Washington Boulevard until you reach Ridge Street, then turn left. The Belpre Historical Society will be on your right at 509 Ridge St, Belpre, OH 45714.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, start at the Parkersburg City Park located at 1 Park Dr, Parkersburg, WV. From the park, head north to the intersection of 7th Street and Market Street. Take 7th Street towards the Ohio River and follow the bike path along the river. Cross the bridge into Belpre and continue on the bike path until you reach the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Ridge Street. Turn left on Ridge Street, and the Belpre Historical Society will be located at 509 Ridge St, Belpre, OH 45714.

• Walking

  If you are walking from downtown Parkersburg, start at the Parkersburg Art Center at 725 Market St, Parkersburg, WV. Head east on Market Street toward the Ohio River. Once you reach the riverfront, follow the pathway along the river until you see the bridge leading into Belpre. Cross the bridge, and upon entering Belpre, continue straight until you reach the intersection of Washington Boulevard. Turn left onto Washington Boulevard and walk until you reach Ridge Street. Turn left on Ridge Street, and the Belpre Historical Society will be located at 509 Ridge St, Belpre, OH 45714.
