Start your journey from the downtown Parkersburg area. Head north on Market Street toward 7th Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with 7th Street. Turn right onto 7th Street and walk until you reach the intersection with the Parkway. At this point, you will see the entrance to the park. Follow the path as it leads to Fort Boreman Drive.

Take a bus that goes towards the West Virginia University at Parkersburg and get off at the nearest stop. From there, you can walk north on Fort Boreman Drive for approximately half a mile to reach the overlook. Follow the signs indicating the direction of Fort Boreman.
