Car
From Spruce Knob, head northwest on County Road 28 (Spruce Knob Road). Continue for about 11 miles until you reach the intersection with US-33. Turn right onto US-33 East and continue for approximately 4 miles. Take the ramp onto I-81 North towards Staunton, and after about 20 miles, merge onto US-250 East. Continue on US-250 for around 10 miles until you reach the junction with WV-28. Turn left onto WV-28 North and follow it for about 20 miles. Finally, follow the signs for Snowshoe Mountain Resort, which will direct you to Snowshoe Drive, where the resort is located. The total driving distance is approximately 60 miles, and travel time is around 1.5 hours.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the nearest bus from Spruce Knob to the city of Elkins. You may need to check the local bus schedules for exact timing. Once in Elkins, you can catch a regional bus service to Snowshoe. Be sure to confirm the bus schedules ahead of time, as service may not be frequent. The total journey may take several hours, including waiting times and transfers, so plan accordingly.
