Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Wheeling Heritage Port, head east on Main Street towards 14th Street. Continue straight for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Market Street. Turn left onto Market Street and walk about 0.2 miles. West Virginia Independence Hall will be on your left at 1528 Market St.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From the Wheeling Transportation Center, take the public bus route #2 towards Elm Grove. Get off at the Market Street stop, which is about a 5-minute ride. From there, walk north on Market Street for two blocks, and West Virginia Independence Hall will be on your right at 1528 Market St.
