Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Wheeling Town Center, exit the building and head east on 14th Street toward Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and walk for about three blocks until you reach 10th Street. Turn right onto 10th Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with National Road. Turn left onto National Road (US-40). Continue walking for about a mile, and you will see the entrance to Wheeling Park on your right at 1801 National Rd.

  • Public Bus

    From the Wheeling Town Center, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the Valley Regional Transit Bus #3, which heads toward Oglebay Park. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Wheeling Park. From there, it’s a short walk to the park entrance at 1801 National Rd.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from the Wheeling Town Center. Head east on 14th Street towards Main Street, then turn left on Main Street. After three blocks, turn right onto 10th Street and ride until you reach National Road. Turn left onto National Road and continue straight for approximately one mile. Wheeling Park will be on your right.
