Walking
If you are starting from the Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack, exit the hotel and head east on Main Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 14th Street. Turn left onto 14th Street and walk for another 0.2 miles. Heritage Port will be on your right, adjacent to the Ohio River.

From the Wheeling Town Center, take the River City Transit bus number 1 towards the Wheeling Island Casino. Stay on the bus for 3 stops and get off at the 14th Street stop. Walk down 14th Street towards the Ohio River, and Heritage Port will be on your left, about a 5-minute walk.
