Car
If you are traveling by car within Devil's Lake State Park, start from the main park entrance on Highway 113. Drive south on Highway 113 for approximately 2 miles. Look for the sign indicating Devil's Lake Nature Center on your right. Turn onto the road leading to the Nature Center. Follow the signs for parking. There is no entry fee required specifically for the Nature Center, but make sure to check if there are any parking fees, especially during peak season.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, check for local bus services that connect to Baraboo, WI. From Baraboo, you will likely need to catch a taxi or use rideshare services to reach Devil's Lake State Park. Once in the park, follow the same directions as noted for car travel. Note that public transportation schedules may be limited, especially on weekends.
Walking
If you are already inside Devil's Lake State Park and are near the northern picnic area, you can walk to the Devil's Lake Nature Center. Head southeast along the marked trails. It is a short walk of about half a mile. Follow the signs for the Nature Center; the trail is well-maintained and offers scenic views along the way. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as some paths may be uneven.
