Getting There

Walking
If you are in Baileys Harbor, start at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall located at 2400 County Rd F. From there, head east on County Rd F for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Cana Island Road. Turn left onto Cana Island Road and continue for about 1 mile. You will see signs for the Cana Island Lighthouse, which is located at the end of the road. The lighthouse is about a 10-minute walk from the parking area.

For a scenic bike ride, start from downtown Baileys Harbor. Rent a bike if you do not have one. Head east on County Rd F and follow the same route as the walking directions. It is a flat and easy ride of approximately 1.5 miles to the intersection with Cana Island Road. Turn left onto Cana Island Road and bike for about 1 mile. The lighthouse area will be on your left, and there is a designated bike parking space near the entrance.

While Door County does not have extensive public transportation, you can use the Door County Trolley service. Board the trolley at any of the designated stops in Baileys Harbor.
