Walking
If you're starting from downtown Sturgeon Bay, head east on Maple Street toward the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 3rd Avenue, then turn left. Follow 3rd Avenue until it becomes the Bay View Bridge. Cross the bridge, enjoying the views of the bay. Once you reach the other side, continue straight onto County Road A. Follow County Road A for about 1.5 miles. The Eastern Terminus of the Ice Age Trail will be located on your left, just past the intersection with Lakeview Road. Look for the trailhead sign marking the start of the trail.

Starting from Sturgeon Bay, rent a bike if you don't have one. Head east towards the Bay View Bridge, following the same route as the walking directions. After crossing the bridge, continue straight on County Road A. Biking is allowed on the road, but be cautious of traffic. After about 1.5 miles, you'll see the trailhead for the Eastern Terminus of the Ice Age Trail on your left. There are bike racks available for you to secure your bike while you explore the trail.
