Continue on WI-33 for approximately 1 mile. The Wisconsin State Historical Marker 61: Fort Winnebago will be located on your right at 1825 WI-33. There is no entry fee, and parking is available on-site.

Once you arrive at the Portage bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach the historical marker. Walking to the marker will take approximately 25 minutes. Head east on E Cook St, then turn left onto WI-33. Walk about 1 mile, and you will see the marker on your right at 1825 WI-33. Be prepared for potential taxi fares if you choose that option.
