If you are driving from the city of Madison, take I-90 E/I-94 E for about 30 miles. Continue on I-94 E and take exit 107 for US-51 N toward Portage. Merge onto US-51 N and continue for about 15 miles. Take the exit toward Arlington/Wisconsin Dells and merge onto WI-60 W. Follow WI-60 W for about 3 miles, then turn right onto County Rd K. After about 1 mile, you will see the John Muir View Marker on your right. There is no entrance fee to visit the marker.
