If you are traveling by car, start on Great River Road (State Highway 35) and head north or south towards Black River Falls. Once you reach Black River Falls, look for County Highway A. Turn onto County Highway A and follow it until you reach the intersection with State Highway 54. Continue onto State Highway 54 for approximately 1 mile. The historical marker will be on your right along the road at 44.2476115 latitude and -90.7368786 longitude. There is no entry fee to view the marker.

Once you arrive at the Black River Falls bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to the marker, which is about 1.5 miles away. To reach the historical marker, walk west on State Highway 54.
