Public Bus
From downtown Kenosha, walk to the Kenosha Transit Center located at 5400 52nd Street, Kenosha, WI. Look for the Route 3 bus which travels toward the northern suburbs. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at 13th Avenue and 60th Street. Transfer to the Route 71 bus heading towards Lake Zurich. After approximately 30 minutes of travel, get off at the Lake Zurich stop. From there, you can walk to the lake area, which is a short 10-minute walk.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Kenosha, such as 'Kenosha Bike Rentals'. Head north on the Kenosha Lakefront Bike Trail, which runs along the lake. Continue biking on the trail for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with Ela Township. Follow the signs directing you to Lake Zurich. The ride will take approximately 1 hour, depending on your pace.

If you are feeling adventurous and are staying in a nearby area, you can walk to Lake Zurich. Start from downtown Kenosha and head north on 6th Avenue until you reach the intersection with 60th Street. Turn left onto 60th Street and continue walking for about 5 miles. Make sure to stay on the sidewalk and watch for traffic. The walk will take around 2 hours but will provide you with a scenic view of the area.
