La Crosse Amtrak Station: Gateway to Scenic Journeys

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown La Crosse, head east on Main Street. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with St. Andrew Street. Turn right onto St. Andrew Street. The La Crosse Amtrak Station will be on your left at 601 St Andrew St, just a short walk from this intersection. The station is situated near several landmarks, including the nearby Riverside Park.

• Public Transit

  If you prefer to take public transit, you can board a bus at any downtown bus stop that connects to the local transit system. Look for the bus route that services the North Side area. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest bus times. Once on the bus, request to get off at the stop closest to St. Andrew Street. After exiting the bus, walk a short distance north on St. Andrew Street, and the Amtrak Station will be on your left at 601 St Andrew St.

• Biking

  If you are biking, start from the Riverfront Trail which runs along the Mississippi River. Head north until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn west onto Main Street and continue for about 0.5 miles. At the intersection with St. Andrew Street, turn right. The La Crosse Amtrak Station will be a short distance ahead on your left at 601 St Andrew St. There are bike racks available at the station for your convenience.
