Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Riverside Park, walk east towards the intersection with E 5th St. Turn left (north) onto E 5th St and continue until you reach the intersection with E Veterans Memorial Dr. Turn right (east) onto E Veterans Memorial Dr. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles, and you will find Riverside International Friendship Gardens on your left. The entrance is marked and easily visible.

  • Public Transit

    From the La Crosse Center, take the City Bus Route 2 towards the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Get off at the stop at E Veterans Memorial Dr & E 3rd St. From there, it's a short walk east along E Veterans Memorial Dr for about 0.3 miles. The Riverside International Friendship Gardens will be on your left.

    If you have access to a bike, start at the La Crosse River State Trail. Head south towards the city center and follow the trail until you reach the intersection with E Veterans Memorial Dr. Turn left (east) onto E Veterans Memorial Dr and bike for about 0.5 miles.
