From the heart of Downtown Madison, head east on East Washington Avenue towards the State Capitol building. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach North Park Street. Turn left onto North Park Street and walk straight for another 0.3 miles. You will see Bascom Hill on your right side at 1872 Lincoln Dr. The hill is part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus and features beautiful landscaping and views.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in Downtown Madison. Start at a station near the State Capitol and head east on East Washington Avenue. Follow the same route as the walking directions, turning left onto North Park Street. Bascom Hill will be on your right after approximately 0.8 miles. Be sure to return your bike at a station near the hill.
