After 15 minutes, get off at Northport Dr & Lakeland Ave. From the bus stop, walk southwest on Lakeland Avenue for about 5 minutes until you reach the Lizard Effigy Mound Historic Marker located at the intersection of Lakeland Ave and Hudson Ave.

    Starting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, head northeast on University Ave. Continue onto East Washington Ave. You can find a bike lane on this route.
