If you are starting from the heart of Downtown Milwaukee, walk towards the Milwaukee Riverwalk. Head east on E Wisconsin Ave, then take a right onto N Water St. Continue walking north until you reach the intersection with E Erie St. Follow E Erie St until it curves into N Harbor Dr. Keep walking straight, passing through the scenic harbor area, and you will see the Milwaukee Pierhead Lighthouse at the end of the pier. The walk should take approximately 20-25 minutes.

From Downtown Milwaukee, find the nearest bus stop. You can take the MCTS Bus Route 15. Board the bus heading towards the Lakefront. Get off at the 'Lake Dr & Erie St' stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk. Head north on Lake Dr and then turn left onto E Erie St, which will lead you straight to the harbor. The bus fare is $2.25, so be sure to have exact change or a transit card.
