Walking
From the heart of the Historic Third Ward, head southeast on E St Paul Ave toward S Water St. Walk straight until you reach the Milwaukee Riverwalk. Continue walking along the riverwalk heading towards the lakefront until you reach the intersection of E Erie St and N Harbor Dr. From there, you will see a path that leads directly to the Milwaukee Pierhead Lighthouse. It is approximately a 20-minute walk, covering about 1 mile.

If you prefer to take public transportation, you can catch a bus at the nearest stop. Head to the corner of E St Paul Ave and N Broadway St, where you can find the bus stop for the Milwaukee County Transit System. Take the Route 15 bus heading towards the 'Lakefront' or 'Oakland' direction. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Water & Erie' stop. From there, walk east towards Lake Michigan, and you will find the path leading to Milwaukee Pierhead Lighthouse. The bus fare is $2.25.
