Walking
If you are starting from downtown Sturgeon Bay, head north on Maple Street until you reach the intersection with Michigan Street. Continue straight onto Maple Street for about 2 miles. You will reach the junction with State Highway 57. Cross the highway and continue on Maple Road for another 3 miles. Keep an eye out for signs for Kangaroo Lake Nature Preserve, which will be on your left side at 7912 N Maple Rd, Baileys Harbor.

From downtown Sturgeon Bay, rent a bike and head north on Maple Street. Follow Maple Street for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with State Highway 57. Take a left onto Highway 57 and continue for about 1 mile. Then, take a right onto Maple Road and follow it for approximately 3 miles. The Kangaroo Lake Nature Preserve will be on the left at 7912 N Maple Rd, Baileys Harbor. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules.
