Start at the center of Sturgeon Bay, near the intersection of Michigan Street and 3rd Avenue. Head east on Michigan Street until you reach the waterfront at the Sturgeon Bay Canal. From there, turn right and walk along the waterfront path, enjoying the views of the water and the boats. Continue walking along the canal until you reach the bridge that crosses over to the east side. Cross the bridge and keep walking straight until you hit 3rd Avenue. Turn left onto 3rd Avenue and continue north until you reach the intersection with Egg Harbor Road. At this intersection, you will find signs directing you to the Ice Age Trail. Follow these signs, which will lead you to the entrance of the Eastern Terminus of the Ice Age Trail.
