Getting There

    Start at the central bus station in Wausau, located at 555 Scott St, Wausau, WI 54403. Board the Metro Ride bus route 2 heading towards the East. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Cedar Creek Mall'. From the Cedar Creek Mall, transfer to bus route 5 towards Rib Mountain. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop 'Granite Peak Ski Area'. You will be just a short walk from the ski area entrance.

    If you're up for a bike ride, start from downtown Wausau. Head south on Washington St towards the Riverfront Park. Follow the bike path along the Wisconsin River for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Rib Mountain Dr. Turn left onto Rib Mountain Dr and continue for about 1.5 miles.
