If you're starting from the Jackson Hole area, take US-89 N for about 10 miles. Once you reach the junction with US-191, continue on US-89 N until you reach the Gros Ventre Campground entrance on your left. Park your vehicle at the campground and follow the signage to the Gros Ventre Trailhead, which is a short walk from the campground.

From the town of Kelly, head north on Gros Ventre Road. Stay on this road for approximately 9 miles. You will see a sign for the Gros Ventre Trailhead on your right. There is a parking area where you can leave your car and start your hike.

Take the START Bus from Jackson to the Gros Ventre area. You will need to check the bus schedule for the latest routes and times. Get off at the Gros Ventre Campground stop. From there, follow the signs to the Gros Ventre Trailhead, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
