Public Bus
Start by heading to the nearest bus stop in Cody. The Cody Transit system operates routes throughout the town. Check the schedule for the North Fork Highway route, which will take you towards Buffalo Bill State Park. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. Get off at the stop closest to 4192 N Fork Hwy, Cody, WY 82414. From there, it is a short walk to the park entrance.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Cody. Begin your journey by heading north on 16th Street until you reach the intersection with N Fork Hwy. Turn left onto N Fork Hwy and continue pedaling for approximately 5 miles. Buffalo Bill State Park will be on your right. The ride offers beautiful views of the landscape, so take your time and enjoy the scenery!
Walking
For those who enjoy a good walk, start from downtown Cody. Head north on Sheridan Avenue, which will turn into N Fork Hwy. Keep walking straight for about 5 miles. The park entrance will be on your right at 4192 N Fork Hwy. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as this is a long walk with limited shade.
