Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the downtown area of Cody, specifically at the Cody Visitor Center located at 1240 9th St, Cody, WY 82414. From the Visitor Center, head north on 9th St towards Sheridan Ave. Continue on Sheridan Ave until you reach the intersection with WY-120 N. Cross the street and continue walking north on WY-120 N for approximately 1.5 miles. After you pass the intersection with E Avenue, you will see a sign for Smith Mansion on your right. Follow the signs and walk towards 2902 N Fork Hwy, where Smith Mansion is located. The total walking distance is about 2 miles and should take around 40-50 minutes.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can start at the Cody Visitor Center (1240 9th St, Cody, WY 82414). From there, head north on 9th St to Sheridan Ave. Turn left onto Sheridan Ave and continue until you reach WY-120 N. Turn right onto WY-120 N and cycle north for about 1.5 miles. Look for the Smith Mansion sign on your right. It's a scenic ride, approximately 2 miles total, and should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.

• Public Transit

  Currently, there is no direct public transit option that takes you to Smith Mansion. However, you can take a taxi or rideshare service from the downtown area of Cody. Starting from the Cody Visitor Center, request a taxi or rideshare to 2902 N Fork Hwy. This is the most efficient way to reach Smith Mansion without a car. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes.
