If you are traveling by car within Green River Basin, start by heading towards the town of Rawlins. From Green River, take I-80 E. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Rawlins, take exit 211 for US-287 N toward Rawlins. Continue on US-287 N for about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto W Walnut St. The Wyoming Frontier Prison Museum will be on your left at 500 W Walnut St, Rawlins, WY 82301.
