From Buffalo, Wyoming, take I-90 W towards Gillette. After about 30 miles, take exit 55 for US-87 S. Follow US-87 S for approximately 40 miles until you reach the intersection with WY-26 W. Turn left onto WY-26 W and continue for about 15 miles. You will see signs for Devil’s Gate Historic Site. Turn left onto the access road leading to the site. Parking is available on-site.

If you are in Kaycee, Wyoming, head west on WY-190 for about 25 miles. Merge onto I-25 S and continue for about 5 miles. Take exit 35 to merge onto US-87 S. Follow US-87 S for about 33 miles to the intersection with WY-26 W. Turn left onto WY-26 W and continue for about 15 miles. Look for signs directing you to Devil’s Gate Historic Site and turn left onto the access road leading to the site. There is free parking available.
