If you are driving from Buffalo, WY, take I-90 east for approximately 20 miles. Then, take exit 56 for US-87 S toward Kaycee. Continue on US-87 S for about 28 miles until you reach the junction with WY-193. Turn right onto WY-193 and follow it for about 11 miles, where it will merge with WY-26 W. Continue on WY-26 W for approximately 20 miles until you reach Guernsey. Once in Guernsey, follow the signs to Guernsey Ruts, which is located a few miles west of the town off of County Road 30.

Public transportation options are limited in Johnson County, but you can take a Greyhound bus to either Buffalo or Casper. From Buffalo, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to Guernsey, which is about 30 miles away. If you arrive in Casper, you can also take a taxi to reach Guernsey. Be sure to check the Greyhound schedule in advance, as services may not be frequent.
