Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Laramie Plains Museum located at 1125 W 15th St, head east on 15th St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Grand Ave. Turn left (north) onto Grand Ave and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. Then turn right (east) onto 8th St. Walk for another 0.2 miles, and The Mad Carpenter Inn will be on your left at 353 N 8th St.

• Public Transit

  From the Laramie Transit Center, take the Green Line bus route that heads toward the University of Wyoming. Get off at the stop near the intersection of 9th St and Grand Ave. After exiting the bus, walk one block north on Grand Ave, then turn right (east) onto 8th St. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles, and you will find The Mad Carpenter Inn at 353 N 8th St on your left.

• Bicycling

  If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Laramie River Greenbelt Trail. Head northeast on the trail until you reach the intersection with 15th St. Turn left on 15th St and cycle for about 0.5 miles. At the intersection with Grand Ave, turn left and continue for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto 8th St and ride for another 0.2 miles until you reach The Mad Carpenter Inn at 353 N 8th St.
