If you're traveling by car, start by heading to the nearest major road in Powder River Basin. From there, take US-87 N towards Bar Nunn. Merge onto I-25 N and continue for approximately 250 miles. Then take exit 188A toward I-80 W. After about 5 miles, merge onto W 1st St in Bar Nunn. Continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach Arena St. Turn right onto Arena St, and Antelope Park will be on your left.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, begin by finding a bus service that operates within Powder River Basin to the nearest bus station connected to a larger city, such as Casper. You may need to transfer buses to reach Bar Nunn. Once in Bar Nunn, you can use a rideshare service or a local taxi to get to Arena St. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as services may be limited, and consider any potential costs associated with the bus fare and rideshare.
Bicycle
For those adventurous enough to bike, ensure you have a reliable map or GPS. Start in Powder River Basin and follow the main roads leading towards Bar Nunn. The route is approximately 15 miles, so plan for a leisurely ride. Use caution, as some roads may not have dedicated bike lanes. Upon reaching Bar Nunn, head towards Arena St, where Antelope Park is located. Remember to wear a helmet and carry water.
Walking
If you are staying very close to Antelope Park, walking is a lovely option. Ensure you have a good map or GPS on your phone. Walk towards Arena St, following the local pathways and sidewalks. Keep in mind that this option is only viable if you are within a couple of miles from the park. Enjoy the scenery as you make your way to the park!
