Turn left onto WY-22 W and follow it for approximately 5 miles. As you approach the Gros Ventre area, look for signs indicating Gros Ventre Trail. Turn onto the Gros Ventre Road and follow it for another 3 miles until you reach the trailhead parking area.

    To reach Gros Ventre Trail using public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop to Snow King Mountain Resort. Board the local shuttle service heading towards Jackson. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Gros Ventre stop, which is the closest stop to the trailhead. From the bus stop, you may need to walk about half a mile down Gros Ventre Road to reach the trailhead entrance.
