If you're traveling by car, start by heading north on US-89 from any location in Teton County. Continue on US-89 until you reach the junction with US-191. At this junction, take US-191 north toward Yellowstone National Park. Once you enter the park, follow the signs for the Grand Loop Road. Continue on the Grand Loop Road until you reach the Mud Volcano area, located at approximately mile marker 16. There is a parking area available for visitors.
