From any location in the Wind River Range, you should first navigate to US-20. If you're in the Lander area, head northwest on S 2nd St toward US-287 N. Merge onto US-287 N and continue until you reach US-20 E in Thermopolis. Follow US-20 E for approximately 60 miles. Upon reaching Thermopolis, turn left onto WY-120 N. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Cottonwood Road. The Legend Rock State Petroglyph Site will be located on your left at 2861 West Cottonwood Road.
