If you're starting from Lander, WY, head west on WY-789 N. Continue for about 14 miles until you reach the intersection with WY-28. Turn left onto WY-28 W and continue for approximately 21 miles. Look for the Popo Agie Wilderness Area signs as you approach the Shoshone National Forest. Once you reach the entrance, you'll find several trailheads that lead into the wilderness.
