Getting There

Car
From Al-Hajjarah Village, start by driving towards the main road leading out of the village. Follow the signs towards Al-Mahwit. After approximately 10 km, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork towards Jebel Benathi. Continue on this road for about 5 km, where you will come across a small parking area at the base of Jebel Benathi. Parking is free. From here, you can begin your hike up the mountain.

Public Transportation (Bus/Shared Taxi)
In Al-Hajjarah Village, locate the bus station or ask locals for the nearest drop-off point for shared taxis heading towards Al-Mahwit. Board a shared taxi or bus that is heading in that direction. It will cost you around 200-300 YER (Yemeni Rials). Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the fork leading to Jebel Benathi. After about 30 minutes of travel, get off at the fork and follow the directions provided for cars from this point. You can walk or hitch a ride to the small parking area at the base of Jebel Benathi.
