From Sana'a, take the road towards the Haraz Mountains. Drive for approximately 2 hours until you reach the town of Al-Hawban. From there, continue on the main road towards Al-Mahwit. Look for signs directing you towards 'محمية برع' (Excelled protected). The reserve is located about 30 km from Al-Hawban. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some roads may be rough. Be prepared for possible tolls along the route.

Catch a bus from Sana'a to Al-Hawban. The buses leave regularly from the main bus station and the fare is approximately 1,000 YER (Yemeni Riyals). Once you arrive in Al-Hawban, you can hire a local taxi to take you to 'محمية برع' (Excelled protected). Ensure to agree on a fare before starting your journey, which should cost around 5,000-7,000 YER. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
