After approximately 60 kilometers, you will reach the turn-off to the Barotse Floodplain. Use a GPS device or map application to ensure you stay on the correct road, as signage can be limited. Once you have navigated the turn-off, follow the dirt road that leads directly into the floodplain. Make sure to check the vehicle's clearance as some areas may be prone to flooding during the wet season. The drive into the floodplain can take around 30 minutes.
