Getting There

Walking
From the Chipata Central Market, head east on Mwami Road for about 800 meters until you reach the junction with Great East Road. At the junction, turn left onto Great East Road and continue walking for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. After 2 kilometers, look for signs indicating Katambo. Continue on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the right fork onto a smaller road that leads towards Mbewuleni Ranch and Private Nature Reserve. Follow this road for another 1 kilometer, and you will see the entrance to Mbewuleni Ranch on your left.

Bicycle
Start at Chipata Central Market and head east on Mwami Road. After 800 meters, turn left onto Great East Road. Cycle straight for about 2 kilometers, passing shops and local stalls. When you reach the fork, take the right towards Katambo. Continue cycling for 1.5 kilometers, then take the right fork onto the smaller road leading to Mbewuleni Ranch. Follow this for another kilometer, and you will arrive at the entrance on your left.

Public Transport (Minibus)
From Chipata Central Bus Station, take a minibus heading towards Katambo. Inform the conductor that you are going to Mbewuleni Ranch. The minibus will drop you off at a nearby stop, approximately 3 kilometers from the ranch. After getting off, walk along the main road for about 1 kilometer until you see the entrance to Mbewuleni Ranch on your right. Make sure to ask locals for assistance if you are unsure about the direction.
