From Chipata, head southwest on the M1 road. Continue on the M1 for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the T4 road towards Chama. Follow the T4 road for about 30 kilometers. As you approach Chisotoka, look for the signs indicating Leopards Hill caves. The final stretch involves taking a dirt road that leads directly to the site, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the main road. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions.

Start your journey from the Chipata bus terminal. Take a minibus heading to Chama. The fare is generally around 20 ZMW. After arriving in Chama, hire a local taxi or a motorbike taxi (known locally as 'boda-boda') to take you to Leopards Hill caves. The taxi fare should be negotiated, but expect to pay around 50-100 ZMW for the trip. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Leopards Hill caves, and they will know the route.
