Car
If you are travelling by car, start from the town of Chipata, which is the capital of Eastern Province. Head northwest on the M1 highway towards Luangwa Bridge. After about 50 kilometers, take the exit towards the T4 road leading to Katete. Continue on the T4 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Kundalila Falls. Follow the signs that will direct you to the falls, which are located about 10 kilometers off the main road. The road to the falls can be rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

To reach Kundalila Falls via public transportation, take a minibus from Chipata to Katete, which will cost around 20 ZMW. Once you arrive in Katete, look for a local taxi or another minibus heading towards Kundalila Falls. This leg of the journey will likely cost an additional 15 ZMW. Be prepared for possible waiting times for the taxi or minibus to fill up before departure. The taxi will take you close to the falls, but you may need to walk the last few kilometers depending on the road conditions and vehicle accessibility.
