Car
If you are driving from the Kalambo Falls area, head southwest on the main road towards the town of Mbala. Continue for approximately 25 km until you reach the junction signposted for Sumbu National Park. Turn right at the junction and follow the signs to Kalambo Lodge, which is located near the shores of Lake Tanganyika. The total journey should take around 40 minutes, depending on road conditions.

Public Transportation
To reach Kalambo Lodge via public transport, take a minibus from Kalambo Falls to Mbala. These minibuses run frequently and the fare is approximately 20 ZMW. Once you arrive in Mbala, find a taxi or a local motorbike taxi (boda-boda) to take you to Kalambo Lodge, which is about 25 km away. Make sure to negotiate the fare before setting off, which should be around 50 ZMW.
