Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kalambo Falls and head south on the main road (M15). Continue on the M15 for approximately 30 kilometers, following the signs to Chishimba Falls. You will pass through small villages along the way, so be cautious of pedestrians and livestock. Once you approach the falls, there will be a sign directing you to the parking area. The parking area is usually free of charge, but ensure your vehicle is parked safely.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Chishimba Falls via public transport, first, find a local minibus or bus heading towards Mbala from Kalambo Falls. The buses usually depart from the main bus station in Kalambo. The fare is typically around 20 Zambian Kwacha. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Chishimba Falls stop (they are familiar with it). After disembarking, you may need to walk for about 1 kilometer to reach the falls. Be prepared for a small entry fee at the falls, usually around 10 Zambian Kwacha.
