Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're staying in central Livingstone, start from the Livingstone Museum. Head south on Museum Road until you reach the intersection with Limulunga Road. Turn right onto Limulunga Road and continue straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Mosi-O-Tunya Road. Continue along this road for about 8 kilometers until you reach the Zambezi River. From here, you need to cross the border into Zimbabwe, as the Gorge Swing HQ is located in Victoria Falls. Follow the signs to the border post. After crossing into Zimbabwe, follow the signs towards Victoria Falls and you will find the Gorge Swing HQ located on the edge of the Zambezi Gorge.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Livingstone. Start from the Livingstone Museum and cycle south on Museum Road until you reach Limulunga Road. Turn right on Limulunga Road and continue straight. Cycle for about 1.5 kilometers to the roundabout and take the second exit onto Mosi-O-Tunya Road. Keep cycling along Mosi-O-Tunya Road for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the Zambezi River. You will need to cross the border into Zimbabwe at the border post. After crossing, follow the signs to Victoria Falls, and the Gorge Swing HQ will be nearby on the edge of the gorge.

    To reach Gorge Swing HQ using public transport, start at the Livingstone Bus Station. Take a minibus heading towards Victoria Falls. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the border post. Once you arrive at the border, you will need to walk through customs and immigration to enter Zimbabwe. After crossing into Zimbabwe, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Gorge Swing HQ, which is located near the edge of the gorge. Taxis are usually available at the border.
