Getting There

Car
If you are driving from the town of Kasama, head east on the T2 road. After approximately 70 kilometers, turn onto the M1 road towards Mbala. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Musonda Falls. The falls are located about 15 kilometers from the M1 road, and you will need to drive on a dirt road. Make sure to have a reliable vehicle, preferably a 4x4, as the road can be rough. Follow the signs leading to Musonda Falls, and you will arrive at your destination. Be aware that there may be a small entrance fee required to access the falls, usually around 20 ZMW per person.

Public Transportation
From Kasama, you can take a minibus to Mbala. The journey will take around 2-3 hours, and minibuses depart regularly from the central bus station. Once you reach Mbala, you can hire a taxi or motorcycle taxi to take you to Musonda Falls. The taxi ride will cost approximately 200 ZMW and take about 30 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. There might be an entrance fee at the falls, generally around 20 ZMW per person.
